Service Technician - Refrigeration/Air Condition

Our client, located in Huntingwood, is a leading global company in the development of Transport and Heavy Duty HVAC Systems for the Rail, Bus & Mining industry.

They are seeking to employ a Service Technician in the air condition and refrigeration industry to assist in their busy service department.

Reporting to the Service Manager your role will be to undertake maintenance, repair, service overhaul and testing of all air conditioning and refrigeration products. All service work is either undertaken in the field or in a workshop environment.

To be successful in this position you must:

• Hold a Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Trade Certificate
• Have PLC or Inverter experience
• Be able to work under limited supervision
• Be prepared to travel within the state and work overtime
• Be computer literate

Ideally you will hold an “A” (Automotive) class restricted electrical license or Electronic Trade certificate, hold a National Refrigerant Handling Licence. Also having a working knowledge of diesel engines or auto electrical experience will be highly regarded. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

On offer to the successful candidate is an attractive salary package of $50k - $55k + Super + Car + Mobile + O/T + Tools, negotiable dependant on experience.
