Assistant Accountant
This role works closely with various Sydney Branches across NSW and you will be required to travel within NSW on a monthly basis. The successful candidate will be pro-active, enjoy working in a team environment, forward thinking and have the ability to multi-task whilst ensuring high levels of accuracy. Reporting to the State Accountant (NSW) your key responsibilities will include day to day accounting functions such as: • Monthly management reporting • BAS and tax lodgement • Accounts payable review • Accounts receivable review • Bank reconciliations • Monitoring compliance with KPI's and budgets • Cost control • General Administration Qualities of the candidate: • Attention to detail • Very good written & spoken English • Takes responsibility for making sure tasks are completed by due dates • Willingness to help others if & when required The position involves limited intrastate (NSW only) travel for 2-5 days per month.
