Interview Tips
- Ensure you are aware of the location and details of person/s you have to meet.
- Always arrive earlier. If you are running late, make sure you call.
- Try and research information about the company before the interview so you understand what their business objectives are and you are aware of their products and/or services.
- Dress appropriately and professionally.
- Be confident and relaxed. Knowing you look presentable and have researched the company makes you feel more confident.
- Greet the interviewer with a smile and offer a firm handshake.
- Ensure you sit with a good posture and always maintain eye contact with the interviewer.
- Try to answer questions openly and honestly and don’t limit yourself to yes or no replies.
You may prepare questions you want to ask. Don’t hesitate to ask these during the interview. Try to keep the questions relevant and specific to the role and don’t over question about the benefits and salary |
